Inter Theatre Company are proud to have been part of the BAFTA winning film
In the spring of 2012, whilst working for The Regent Theatre, Stoke on Trent, we set up our first integrated choir and drama sessions, working with able bodied and physically and learning disabled adults on issue based acting and improvisation. We won the Spirit of the Festival Award at the Berterelli Foundation sponsored Regent Academy Creative Arts Festival 2012 and have since created choir, drama, music, dance and film groups across the county, made up of learning and physically disabled adults and their friends and carers. We have since been featured as part of a BBC film and visited by royalty.
Our members are involved in every aspect of performance, from acting, singing and dancing through writing, directing, staging and performing musically all the way to sourcing media exposure and publicising our up and coming events. They are not only an opportunity to hone your performance and vocal skills but a chance to meet new friends, whatever your age, ability or talents.
Inter Theatre Company are always looking for talented, enthusiastic performers to join us. Whether your passion is for acting, singing, dancing or all of the above – we would love you to come and see what we can offer you. And just as importantly, what you can offer us!
2012: Inter Theatre Company joined forces with the Creative Minds Project, Regent Theatre to produce an integrated festive spectacular at the Victoria Hall, Hanley.
We are very proud to announce that our excellent team of volunteers and support staff won the coveted Queen's Award for Voluntary Service 2018. To join our amazing team please email us or visit our facebook page for volunteers https://www.facebook.com/groups/ InterTheatreCICVolunteers/
