Founded in 2012, This is our flagship multimedia session focussing on drama, movement, singing and film: Over the last few years we have worked individual sessions focussing on developing visual and verbal performance skills, movement skills and group singing. We have covered everything from Shakespeare to The Wizard of Oz, toured Godspell and performed in venues as diverse as Regent Theatre, Lichfield Cathedral and a circus tent. We have worked inclusively with all our members developing, devising and directing performance and issue pieces and are focussed on user led creative and agenda based theatre and film.

Inter Theatre Stoke worked with BBC, Fifty Fathoms and Tiger Aspect as part of their film Marvellous. It was shown on BBC2 and repeated on Christmas Day.

Recently we created a feature film, written by our group – Humanus. This took on a life of its own. Not only did our members write the script and act but they took on other production roles incuding SFX, make up, props and costumes and learnt about lighting, sound and camera work.

Out of this was born

We are very keen that our sessions include carers, friends, family and support workers. They are combined with pure fun and enjoyment, not only an opportunity to hone your performance and vocal skills but a chance to meet new friends, whatever your age, ability or talents.
